Do your own duty…

“It is better to do your own duty, however imperfectly, than to assume the duties of another person, however successfully. Prefer to die doing your own duties; the duties of another will bring you into great spiritual danger.” – Bhagavad Gita

I find it helpful to remember this, especially when struggling with my path. When we stumble, it’s easy to think we have done something wrong and then begin to doubt ourselves. But we don’t need to be perfect. We need to be alive. And it is impossible to be alive if we don’t know who we are.
