Part of Fortune in 6th House

POF 6thThe Part of Fortune in the houses shows the areas of life experience where you can find joy. With the Part of Fortune in 6th house you achieve happiness and success through meaningful work and good health.

You’re interested in self-improvement and self-discipline because you’re happiest when you feel healthy and busy. Joy comes from the careful use of your time and energy. You know how to stay in the present moment by focusing on details that most people ignore or don’t even notice. You have a system for every part of your life and like to keep things ordered and organised. This means the details of daily life take care of themselves because you have everything under control.

You like to take care of yourself so maintaining your health and wellbeing will bring you great happiness. You need to keep your life balanced with a healthy diet, exercise and time for relaxation. You also want to help others to improve their lives and might do well anywhere you can take care of details and provide a service.

The point opposite the Part of Fortune may block the free flow of energy and make it harder to find joy, but only if you take it personally. If you approach this area impersonally it will help you achieve happiness. The opposite point here is the 12th house so you’re in touch with the collective unconscious and sensitive to others’ needs which gives you great compassion.

If you take this sensitivity personally you may end up brooding on the suffering of the world and become overwhelmed. The key to dealing with this is to do something practical. You understand how the infinite feeds into the finite world, but changes can only be made in the material world. You can see exactly what needs to be done and can provide the right help at the right time. This elevates your work to the level of true service to others and you become an example of compassion in action.

6th House Pot of Gold

You’ll find joy by efficiently taking care of the details of life and maintaining optimum health and wellbeing. Service is the key to your happiness.

  • Cultivate discrimination.
  • Dedicate yourself to being of service.
  • Aim to live a stress-free life.

  1. Hi, again, Jessica,

My apologies. Your book is Free Your Pen – Mind Training for Writers and not Your Free Pen, lol. Also, I have a typo in the first paragraph…its should not have an apostrophe. Yes, I like to write and I despise typos, lol. Have a great week. Becky

  2. Hi, Jessica,

I really enjoyed reading from your website. My Fortune is in ”nine” which led me to here aka ”six” – as per your advice coming from Fortune ”nine, ” and it all makes perfect sense to me; your accuracy is phenomenal. I get it and I agree that having six as a Fortune is something that I struggle with it and it causes me grief AND some discomfort. That being said…I totally relate to six and nine. I also understand it’s incredible dynamics and understand what needs to be addressed moving forward.

I wondered why all my planets were in the twelfth house and now I know why and it used to bother me and technically 12 is a wasteland…anyway without getting off track I struggle with six and not with nine. I will now have to ask God of the universe to help me and I know He will; nine allows me to dissolve six, respectfully through mediation and some alone time.

I’m happy that I found your site, although this blog/post and the commenter below dates back as far as 2016 (being it is now April 2019.) All I can say is ”BRAVO” and I am so fortunate that you did not remove your website nor the content. It’s crazy good.

I know lol, you and the Universe were waiting for us or I should say me, lol – waiting just for me.

I just noticed your article or book on ”Your Free Pen” Mind Training for Writers. Imagine that? Finding your blog is part of the my awakening/journey and most of all my joy and fun. (I’m a Christian, lol, who is finding my identity and this has everything to do with Fortune nine and Fortune six.)

May you be full of joyfullness and strength everyday and continue to write beautiful blogs such as this one.
I will be donating something of monetary value to you out of respect, appreciation, admiration and for just being you.

    Bye for now.
