Astro Journal 2025 is out now!

It’s here! Astro Journal 2025 is now available to buy in paperback and on Kindle at Amazon and as an EPUB from my Payhip store. The paperback may take a little while to become available in some stores (it went live on Monday) but it should appear soon so keep checking and be patient! Meanwhile, here’s the obligatory blurb:

The Astro Journal paperback is a practical workbook for astrologers that provides astrological guidance for the year ahead and space for you to record your experiences along the way. The digital versions include the same text as the paperback but you will need your own journal in which to make notes and explore your transits. You can use it to track your growth and spiritual awakening with astrology, or anything else that takes your fancy.

Astro Journal 2025 includes sections on how to plan using astrology, interpretations of all major transits, lunations, eclipses, and retrogrades, plus keywords for planets, signs, and houses, and online resources. It uses the tropical zodiac and the dates are for GMT/UT.

This edition of the Astro Journal is slightly longer than the previous ones as there’s a whole lot of astrology going on next year! As before, the interpretations are based on psychological and spiritual astrology with an emphasis on archetypes and keywords. And I feel duty bound to include this disclaimer, just in case anybody has any confusion about what’s in the book:

I briefly mentioned what we have coming up in an earlier post and 2025 looks set to be a momentous year – one for the history books. It should really be considered alongside 2026 because they come together as a package. Next year is the pivot when everything shifts and it takes two years to complete. That means there’s a lot in Astro Journal 2025that also covers events in 2026 as many of the alignments are previewed – not just the Saturn Neptune conjunction.

Here’s an overview of what’s coming in 2025 from the Year Ahead section of the book:

“We have finally arrived at the halfway point of the five-year period of Saturn Neptune energy that began in 2023 when Saturn joined Neptune in Pisces. The dissolution of the old order reaches its peak as we transition into the second half of the decade marked by momentous changes that contain great potential.

“Pluto has now settled into Aquarius and this year the remaining outer planets also change signs, with Neptune and Saturn entering Aries, Uranus entering Gemini, and Jupiter entering Cancer. This marks a major shift in emphasis from the feminine/yin energies of earth and water to the masculine/yang energies of fire and air – aside from Jupiter who goes the other way and will return to fire in 2026 when he enters Leo.

“2025 begins with the disruption of Mars retrograde opposite Pluto which continues to challenge us with volatile emotions and intense power struggles. This brings a deep cleansing and transformation as we face the consequences of the past and let go of what no longer works, while remaining open to the rebirth and new beginnings that are on their way.

“Mars stations direct at the end of February but the rebirth may be delayed as this is followed by both Mercury and Venus stationing retrograde in March, going from Aries back into Pisces. This is also when the Saturn Neptune conjunction starts to get closer and Neptune enters Aries at the end of March, followed by Saturn in May. Jupiter then enters exultation in Cancer in June and Uranus enters Gemini in July.

“By then the Saturn Neptune conjunction has reached its closest point this year as we leave the old world and enter a new landscape that will feel quite different to the recent past. This is followed by the first exact alignments of the Uranus Neptune sextile and the mini triangle configuration between Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. This marks an unprecedented turning point in the history of civilisation that will bring change that slowly unfolds over the coming centuries.

“And it all starts in the summer of 2025.”
