When Uranus transits natal Jupiter your need for freedom and change influences your need for self-improvement and deeper meaning in life. Uranus speeds things up and disrupts old patterns and represents your need for independence and change in this area.

When Uranus transits natal Jupiter you may experience surprises and disruption to your beliefs about reality and how you find meaning in your life, as well as your desire to improve yourself and expand your horizons. There may be breakthroughs and opportunities to grow in many areas of your life as your self-confidence increases.
This is a great time to follow your intuition and take a few risks and do something you wouldn’t normally do. You may feel hopeful and optimistic and receive a vision of the future, and if you believe in yourself, your dreams could come true with a little effort. You could gain greater understanding of your life and the patterns that underpin it.
Hard aspects to Jupiter (conjunction, square or opposition) may be unpredictable and bring more unreliable opportunities. Feelings of restlessness may push you into rash or impulsive actions that backfire and your overconfidence could get you into some sticky situations. Your vision of the future may be unrealistic and it could lead to sudden losses.
This is only likely if you’re not aware of your limitations so double-check any opportunity that comes up and don’t gamble with what you can’t afford to lose. But don’t waste the opportunities that come your way because you can use this time to break free of any restrictions – inner or outer – that are holding you back and develop a more authentic vision of your life. You can gain a wider perspective that allows you to grow towards the person you’re meant to become.

My notes:
Uranus transited conjunct my natal Jupiter in 1975 from age 4–5 when Uranus was in Scorpio in my 8th house. I was too young to remember anything significant from this time. It coincided with when I started at primary school and first began to play the recorder, marking the beginning of my musical adventures.
Uranus transited sextile my natal Jupiter in 1989 from age 18–19 when Uranus was in Capricorn in my 11th house. This coincided with when I was working at the Virgin Megastore to earn money before going to college.
Early in the transit I was writing songs with a friend and we met in the evenings to try out new ideas. I hired a 4-track and drum machine so I could explore and teach myself how to record, with mixed results. Later we went into a studio to record the songs properly with somebody who knew what they were doing, reinforcing my dream of becoming a sound engineer.
Later I left home and moved to the opposite end of the country to study on the Graduate Diploma course for jazz and popular music, (it’s a BMus (Hons) course now). This transit was exact when I found out that I had secured a place and later when the course started.
Uranus transited square my natal Jupiter in 1996 from age 25–26 when Uranus was in Aquarius in my 12th house. This was when I was at college for the second time and studying music production so I could become a sound engineer. After graduating I started helping out on sessions at a project studio and by the end of the transit was running my own sessions as a freelance engineer.
Uranus transited trine my natal Jupiter in 2003-04 from age 32–34 when Uranus was in Pisces in my 1st house and also conjunct my north node. This coincided with when I was working as a sound engineer recording a talking newspaper for the local council. I had just turned my life around by giving up booze and starting to do yoga and was feeling happier and more optimistic about being myself.
However, all these changes put pressure on the relationship I was in and that broke up halfway through the transit. Shortly after that, I had my first satori which radically transformed my view of reality and myself. The beginnings of a dark night of the soul began to filter through into my awareness as I struggled to make sense of my new reality. Then as Uranus moved to oppose my Sun in 2004, I suddenly began to write and a whole new chapter of my life was launched.
Uranus transited opposite my natal Jupiter in 2018-20 from age 47–49 when Uranus was in Taurus in my 2nd house and right on the cusp of going into the 3rd. This coincided with when I was doing lots of writing and struggling with health and energy issues which were affecting my mood.
There were publishing opportunities when Nexus magazine printed my post about the Saturn Pluto conjunction in December 2019, and Anaiya Sophia got in touch to ask if she could use some of my writing in her new book, Fierce Feminine Rising, which came out in January 2020.
I also attempted to expand and improve my business by putting a donation button on the website and then upgraded the site to get rid of the horrible ads and make it look more professional. But in the background, I was busy rethinking everything and wondering whether I should be writing at all (thanks to Pluto entering my 12th house). When I broke my wrist as Uranus entered my 3rd house, it confirmed that I needed to do some deep thinking about the future and who I want to become.

This one really hits home at the moment (so to speak haha). Uranus has been in my 4th house since 6 degrees Taurus, now approaching native Jupiter (21 degrees 17 min) and I have had the good luck to be able to purchase a piece of property in an area close to nature. I’m learning about building a tiny house and managing weeds twice my size, etc, – things this city girl is pretty new to – but it has also been a roller coaster in terms of bureaucracy and a psychotic (actually violent) neighbour, storms and damage, and many unanticipated expenses. I’ve nearly quit it all and put it on the market but I’m Cappy ascendant stellium squaring Pluto natally and I’m pretty determined to make it work.
Interestingly (disasterously??), when Uranus and Jupiter are conjunct in April (Exact the 19th-ish) it happens to be my Jupiter Return Exact as well as Uranus conjunct my natal Jupiter exact – and I’m a little freaked out about it. This moment is also square my Vertex in Leo – also EXACT. That week, transiting Venus, North Node, Mercury, and Chiron are opposite my natal Pluto – so SN conjunct Pluto, and trine natal Neptune and Saturn (an intimidating Kite??). Transit NN and Venus are square my natal Ascendant and Mars in Cap., the Sun is conjunct (exact) my natal South Node and Chiron, and transiting Mars is chillin right smack between natal Venus and Moon – conjuncting them both since they’re only 3 degrees apart in Pisces (2nd house).
If I get into the astroids, it is more of the same (transiting Neptune conjunct Valentine, Ceres just floated by ASC + Mars, Natal Amor is getting hit exactly by the Uranus-Jupiter action and transiting Amor is chillin w/ the Sun on my SN/Chiron. Nessus is right by Venus, and Pluto is just over 1 degree from my lonely natal Sun in Aquarius.
So like, do I fall in love with a serial killer or something and have to go into hiding in some land I don’t know the language of? I mean really, there are some strong conjunctions and oppositions but Uranus, for all his drama, has been sextile Venus, so I’m hopeful something fun or positive comes out of this. Anything with Nodes and Pluto has been tough for me in the (all too recent) past. Uranus was transiting my moon when my mom passed away so I’m just a bit anxious, I think.

With all that going on, a bit of anxiety would be normal! Best of luck with it – I hope you get things sorted the way you want them.
