My Notes:

Neptune transited square my natal Uranus in 1987-88, from age 16 to 18, when Neptune was in Capricorn in my 11th house. This transit seems to have passed without incident. Stuff happened but nothing paradigmatic for this particular combination of archetypes.

It coincided with when I was at college doing lots of music and my A Levels, and then started working to save money before going to college in 1989. There were no revelations or breakthroughs and I remained stolidly atheist and ignorant of my true nature throughout.

Neptune transited trine my natal Uranus in 2001-2, from age 30 to 31, when Neptune was in Aquarius in my 12th house. This coincided with when I started a job recording a talking newspaper for the local council, the end point of making my dream of being a sound engineer real. But it was a compromise on my original dream and I felt frustrated at the lack of creative opportunities.

I was also dimly aware that I needed to accept the mystical and imaginative side of myself but was unable to fully embrace it. I was drinking a lot of booze to drown the feeling that I was being stalked by something from the depths that was demanding change. Deep down I think I knew what I needed to do but didn’t feel ready to let go at the time, despite this being a trine.

The internal pressure slowly increased through this transit and was released in my first satori when Neptune crossed my ascendent shortly after this transit ended.

Neptune will oppose my natal Uranus in 2028-29, from age 57 to 58, when Neptune is in Aries in my 2nd house. This is an approaching transit and part of the mini triangle configuration…
