I hope you’re enjoying the Saturn Neptune conjunction because it’s about to go exact on 20th February 2026 at 0° Aries. The planets have been hanging out in Pisces for ages and they both dipped into Aries briefly last year when the conjunction almost became exact in July. Neptune returns to Aries at the end of January and Saturn joins him on 14th February just before the exact conjunction. It stays close until the end of May but then returns to orb from October 2026 to February 2027. So you have another year to explore these energies and create a new beginning in the Aries part of your chart.

We’ve already explored the nature of this transit in previous posts but in general, Saturn Neptune alignments coincide with periods of disillusionment and the collapse of unrealistic structures, beliefs and narratives. Alongside all the depressing stuff there’s also the potential for political and spiritual renewal and an increase in inspirational art, music and film. Aries adds a tendency to idealise war and heroism, as well as the loss of belief in leaders who inevitably disappoint.
There are more possibilities listed in this previous post but we’re already seeing massive changes around the world as the old order unravels under stress. The US appears to be aggressively repositioning itself in preparation for the newly emerging decentralised world at the same time as stirring up its own civil war, while the EU and UK hang on to the dream of centralised control even as they disintegrate internally. These conflicts will escalate over the coming months and take years to play out on multiple fronts, including Ukraine, Israel, and more.

Writing about this ahead of time is impossible because the situation is too volatile and unpredictable. Almost anything could happen and none of us can see clearly enough to understand what’s going on. The collapse of illusions doesn’t necessarily happen the way you expect because you don’t know what your delusions are until you run up against reality. That makes this transit incredibly hard to navigate.
The conjunction represents a new beginning but that only arrives after the falling away of old dreams and illusions and the end of what has gone before. So there may be things in your life that you need to let go of before you can get to the new beginning and renewal. You may also need to go through a period of waiting and confusion while reality reorders itself to reflect your new path. You’ll need to release the worn-out structures and then wait in the darkness for a new direction to emerge.
The trouble is this conjunction is happening in Aries so you may be tempted to leap at the first opportunity or try to push the river and get ahead of yourself. You could act on delusions or get caught up in situations that don’t reflect the real you, especially when the collective mood is so dark and distorted.
This process began last year so you could already be embroiled in something that’s unravelling. You could also be nurturing the first steps in a real new beginning that’s struggling to take root. It may be hard to tell the difference between these options or your situation could include elements of both.
Either way, try to ignore the urgency of Aries and don’t act until you have clarity. If you feel a sense of urgency or your actions are underpinned with anxiety or fear then it’s usually a sign that your ego is pushing for control. When you act from the soul or higher Self you tend to be calmer, even when you don’t know what the hell is going on! This is very hard to do so you may need practice before you get the hang of it. But with Saturn and Neptune in Aries you’ll get plenty of opportunities to try.

This conjunction will affect everyone regardless where it hits your chart because it happens at 0° Aries, the seeding point of the zodiac where everything begins. You’ll need to consciously choose what you want to begin and take a stand for what’s right for you as an individual. This may include learning how to be a true spiritual warrior who acts from the soul or true Self.
With that in mind, you may enjoy this episode of the Mystical American Patriots Society that includes a fascinating and entertaining segment on the ideals of chivalry – perfect for Neptune in Aries.
A spiritual warrior (or bodhisattva) focuses their will on what they can control – i.e. their inner attitude and alignment with the divine or spiritual reality. Doing this will help you to get the best from this transit because it encourages you to focus on what works in reality. But what is reality?
Reality is becoming harder to discern and it might not be what you think it is, or what you hope it is. The only way to be sure is to turn inwards and listen to the guidance from your soul/the divine. But you also need to test your intuition and insights and practice discernment so you don’t lead yourself astray. This transit may burst many spiritual bubbles and help you to return to real spirituality and genuine faith.
This is especially important when nothing is sacred and there’s a hunger for faking everything for the LOLs. One example is the recent AI rendering of the Turin shroud – a fake version of a fake and a brilliant example of our total immersion in the illusion of maya/Neptune. For more on the fake shroud and how you can make your own (!), check out this episode of the Mystical American Patriots Society. (I’m a fan!)

That’s enough rambling. Let’s look at how you can awaken and get back to reality and be true to yourself in each house during the Saturn Neptune conjunction. In each case, you may need to confront your illusions and disillusionment before you can begin to rebuild and find your way forward:

Reconnecting with your inner life so you can discover the roots of your true identity as a soul. Healing childhood memories and family karma so you can let go of the past and grow in wisdom and compassion.
5th House – Taking a realistic approach to romance, children and creativity so that your passions express your authentic spiritual values. Expressing your imagination through creative work that inspires others and discovering a new soul vision for your life. Encouraging your children to pursue their dreams and express their authentic selves.

Finding work that allows you to express your authenticity and compassion through service to others. Healing by learning self-acceptance and having faith that the details will sort themselves out in time.

7th House – Taking a realistic approach to your relationships based on shared values that reflect an authentic spiritual connection between two souls. Developing healthy boundaries so you can be fair without undermining your own needs. Learning to love in a more selfless way without losing yourself in fantasy or over-idealised expectations.

Exploring new spiritual practices and affirming your faith by acting on your vision to make it real. Redefining what success means to you and taking a leap of faith to find your true calling in life. Working in a creative or caring role that allows you to express your vision and compassion through service.
11th House – Taking a realistic approach to your friendships so that they reflect your authentic spiritual values. Expressing your compassion and vision through social causes and building genuine connections within your local community. Discovering new hopes and aspirations that inspire you to work towards an improved future for everyone.
12th House – Taking a realistic approach to depth psychology and shadow work so you can dissolve old patterns that no longer serve your authentic spiritual purpose. Learning to surrender by having faith in the unity of life based on a genuine spiritual awakening. Developing a disciplined spiritual practice that releases the karma of the past.

As an example, the Saturn Neptune conjunction is in my 2nd house which has Pisces on the cusp but includes Aries too, so I’ve had both planets in this house for a while. Neptune entered my 2nd house in February 2021 and has been dissolving my ability to earn a living in various ways. Saturn entered in February 2025 and immediately began applying pressure for me to sort myself out and change what I was doing.
The process started with disillusionment and then grief as I was forced to let go of my unrealistic plans for earning money, as well as confront my tendency to undermine myself with self-doubt.
I began looking for a job in admin in 2025 but struggled because my skills are decades out of date. Despite getting regular interviews I kept losing out to people with more recent experience. By October I was starting to think I’d never get a job and was letting my anxiety get the better of me. Even worse, I was applying for jobs I didn’t want (out of desperation) – jobs that made me depressed just thinking about doing them.
But then I realised something obvious. I wasn’t getting these jobs because they weren’t right for me. I was being protected from my stupid choices and would find a job when the right one came along. I had no reason to doubt myself and realised that faith is a choice but I had to act on it to make it real.
I stopped applying for jobs that bored me or didn’t feel right and started looking at all sorts of things that I wouldn’t normally consider. Out of curiosity I clicked on one job advert just to see what it was – it didn’t look like the usual boring admin. I didn’t meet all the criteria but applied anyway and talked up my transferable skills.
Long story short – I got the job! 🥳
It’s part-time so provides the perfect hours to fit around my side hustle and covers my bills so I can continue writing stuff for you. It also means learning new skills and finding new ways to apply my old skills. The job hasn’t started yet and I’m still waiting for all the checks to be completed – they got delayed over the Christmas break – but I’m hopeful it should begin soon. So my new beginning is on its way, with a little help from Jupiter transiting my 6th house. 🙏
How has the Saturn Neptune conjunction been treating you? Has your new beginning arrived or can you see it coming over the horizon…?

Good post, Jessica!
The Saturn/Aries conjunction on 20th Feb 2026 will also be exactly conjuncting my Vertex at the very end of my 6th house. I’ve spent the last 5 years trying to learn Acceptance (that People are People) and levelling with myself about things that I cannot change (which are most things in life as it turns out, ha ha!). It’s allowed me to distance myself a bit more, and there is much less hurt in my life, now. I’ve done a lot of soul searching but I can’t say it’s been easy, and many relationships – and choices in life – haven’t made it through to the next phase. I guess when you see people’s true colours, you sometimes realise you don’t want to be part of that. So, best to strike out on your own and follow your own path, right?! Not that I was on the ‘wrong’ path per se, but I seem to be on a more authentic path now, and it feels a lot better.
Anyway, the last time Saturn conjuncted my vertex in Aries, my sister’s boyfriend and his father were killed in a light plane crash. It wasn’t pretty watching the emotional wreckage from that. I’m kind of hoping no-one dies a fiery death this time around?! Who knows what the impact of having Neptune in there might be. Maybe they’ll cancel each other’s energies out?! Unlikely, though. Certainly worldly grievances are already dominating the news…and we haven’t got to either planet being in Aries, yet! So I think this might be another time when I sit on the sidelines and hear about more carnage in the world – and all I can really do is get on with my life and keep directing it where I want it to go, preferably calmly.

I’m sure it won’t repeat exactly! There’s always other transits involved when something like that happens, especially in the individual’s own charts. Following your own path seems to be a good way to go right now!

Dear Jessica, thanks again for your insights. They are very precious.
I am having Saturn and Neptune transiting Chiron (0° Aries) in my forth house and Uranus in opposition (1° Libra). It´s been hard for me and I am looking forward for this heavy transit to be over.
I´ve cried so much over this last year and in the center of my tears were all the things that I have lost (or never had), like a stable home where I felt secure and where I felt I belonged. It was a mixture of sadness about the losses and unfulfilled wishes on the one hand and on the other hand a sweet bitter aching in my heart when the memories overwhelmed me of days when I got a glimpse of how it must be to really feel at home.
In November my eldest son, who is only 17, moved out. What initially felt like a huge relief now feels like a failure too; I miss him and feel guilty because I was not able to provide him the home he might have needed and think that I have passed on my unresolved childhood issues to him: Lord of his fourth house is Neptun, just like it is in my birth chart.
Your posts always make me reflect and often I recognize myself and get a better understanding of my own struggles. I also appreciate that you share your own challenges.
I am glad that you are getting over your money-/income issues and I wish you the best for 2026 and your new beginning as well as fulfillment in your new job!
Heike.

Thank you for sharing your story, Heike, and don’t be too hard on yourself. Having Saturn Neptune transiting your Chiron Uranus opposition is a tough transit but it will pass. Hopefully you can find your way to acceptance and healing. Remember that Pluto and Uranus are forming sextiles to your Chiron too so that energy can be drawn on to find fresh insights and deep transformation over time.

Wishing you all the best in 2026 and in your new job 🙏 We share similar transits and it is lovely to read your experience. Thank you so much for sharing precious stuff (your experiences and the Astrology) I have not been able to work since 2020 for health reasons but the mix of work, survival struggles, what I really want to do and how much I lack self confidence has been a life long theme. I guest this Saturn/ Neptune conjunction of my 2H cusp in Pisces and Aries in most of the house as you, and Jupiter in the 6th too will hopefully help me create me the jobs I would be able to do and want to do or/and get clarity and motivation to do something about becoming financially independent again at least.
All blessings your way 🙏💖✨And thank you again.

Thank you Jessica. Amen to that. I still do my best to make a cake of any shit. But my Jupiter return this year in my 5th house made sure, and is still making sure, I rub my nose on the bottom of complete
misery, frustration and lack of all that makes me feel alive and enjoy life! It is winter in the South West of England also so, self compassion and more self compassion. ✨
