I’d like to recommend a new book for anyone interested in exploring how astrology connects you to the earth and your daily experience. I was privileged to receive a review copy of Diana Badger’s book, Dance of the Archetypes which draws on her engagement with depth psychology, Jungian dreamwork, spiritual practice, embodied healing and ecological awareness.
The book offers a personal perspective on the meaning of the zodiac signs and encourages reflection, revealing new perspectives and surprising connections that enrich your understanding of how astrology works. It’s also illustrated with beautiful and intriguing images that inspire insights and new ways of seeing that add another dimension to your perception.
I loved the photographs and paintings and enjoyed the well-chosen quotes scattered through the text. These encouraged me to pause and contemplate the deeper meaning of the signs in my own life. Dance of the Archetypes provides an excellent introduction to how the adage ‘as above, so below’ actually works in astrology and I highly recommend the book for anyone who wants to go deeper.
