November begins in Scorpio season when we explore the mysteries of life and death and increase the intimacy and depth in our connections with others. We can also be overcome by compulsions, obsessions and a desire for power but can use this intense energy to transform and empower ourselves by letting go of what needs to end. More on the meaning of Scorpio here: Scorpio Myths

The month begins with the Sun and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, Venus retrograde in Libra, and Mars in Leo conjunct Jupiter. Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Chiron are also retrograde. Mercury and Venus both go direct mid-month which could increase the potential for disruption or surprise reversals in situations. A week later the Sun enters Sagittarius while opposite Uranus, and then Mars enters Virgo at the end of the month.
On 4th November the inferior conjunction of the Sun and Mercury retrograde goes exact sextile the Moon in Virgo. This is the halfway point in the retrograde cycle and the moment to gather inspiration and make intentions for the changes you’d like to make when Mercury stations direct. The practical Moon helps to keep you grounded in the details and make realistic plans for your goals.
The next day Mars enters his retrograde shadow at 20° Leo. He doesn’t station retrograde until 10th January 2027 so you have a couple of months to prepare. Look at anything that could cause problems during the coming retrograde, such as machinery that might break down, situations that could blow up into arguments, or issues you have with your energy, and so on.
Now is the time to fix those potential problems before they get worse. Later in the month you might get some clues to the areas that need attention when the Sun Mars square goes exact.

On 9th November the New Moon in Scorpio is square Mars. Mars is also conjunct Jupiter and the south node in Leo, sextile Venus retrograde, and trine Chiron. This lunation highlights your need for emotional transformation and profound experiences. The Mars square boosts your energy and self-confidence which you can use to achieve your goals, but you may need to watch for power struggles or a tendency to overdo things, especially since Jupiter is also conjunct Mars.
The Mars Jupiter conjunction in Leo increases feelings of optimism and faith in the future which encourages you to express yourself with great drama and flair. However, both planets are also conjunct the south node which could create confusion about what you want or losses in this area of your chart. Your energy levels or health may also suffer if this transit contacts your chart directly.
The Mars Jupiter stellium with the south node is a big feature of the astrology of early 2027 thanks to Mars going retrograde. So now is the perfect time to practice asserting yourself without letting your ego get in the way before things get trickier next year when Mars is retrograde.
On 12th November the Jupiter South Node conjunction goes exact. This transit encourages you to let go of limiting beliefs and past behaviours and situations that prevent you from embracing a more positive future. You can also learn from the past and find new ways to express and share your gifts and wisdom. There’ll be two more exact aspects next year – more on this transit coming soon.
On 13th November Mercury stations direct in Scorpio while sextile the Moon in Capricorn and square Pluto. This is the moment to act on the plans or changes you need to make as a result of the retrograde cycle that began in October. The practical and ambitious Moon helps to give form to your plans, while Pluto intensifies your feelings and ensures that any changes you make will be deep and lasting.

The next day Venus stations direct in Libra sextile the Mars Jupiter south node stellium and opposite Chiron. This is the moment to assess how you feel about your relationships, finances, creative projects, and values as a result of your experiences during the retrograde cycle that began in October.
Venus in Libra is focused on finding balance and harmony, as well as justice, and Mars adds energy and the motivation to resolve conflicts. Jupiter increases optimism and positivity and provides the potential for healing, while the south node encourages you to let go of whatever has been coming between you and those you love.
On 18th November the Jupiter Uranus square enters orb giving you a short preview of the transit that goes exact in September 2027. This aspect offers the opportunity to free yourself and grow in new and surprising ways, especially if it contacts your chart directly. You may receive flashes of insight that reveal new paths and potentials that you could develop. But you may also feel restless and impatient for change and this could make you impulsive and prone to taking risks that could backfire.
This is especially true while Mars is also conjunct Jupiter and square Uranus so you may want to slow down and think things through before leaping into action. The Mars Uranus square goes exact early in December, increasing the potential for disruption, shocks, surprises, and breakthroughs.
On 19th November the Sun Mars square goes exact with Mars conjunct Jupiter and the south node and sextile Venus. The Sun in Scorpio also opposes Uranus which squares Mars and Jupiter in a T-square. This transit is part of the Mars retrograde cycle and it tests how you’re using your energy to go after your goals. How you experience it will depend on whether your goals match your true needs.
You may feel energised and ambitious but also conflicted about what you want. Uranus may disrupt your efforts and there could be unpredictable events or news that you need to incorporate into your plans. You could also break free of limiting situations or find surprising solutions to problems that allow you to take a new approach to your goals or how you use your energy.
Now is a good time to assess what you’re doing and make any necessary changes before Mars goes retrograde in January. More on this Mars retrograde transit coming soon.

On 24th November the Full Moon in Gemini is conjunct Uranus and opposite the Sun in Sagittarius in a T-square with Mars, Jupiter and the south node. The Sun also trines Saturn Neptune and sextiles Pluto, while the Moon and Uranus sextile Saturn Neptune and trine Pluto. This lunation highlights the conflict between your need for meaning and adventure and your desire for basic facts and communication.
You may feel restless and easily bored or distracted with a strong desire for freedom and self-expression. There could be surprising events, shocking news, or detours that force you to change your plans and you may need to be flexible and willing to think fast. Mars enters Virgo the next day which provides practical grounding and takes some of the heat out of the T-square with the Sun and Uranus. But disruptions could also leave you feeling edgy and nervous, especially if you don’t have anything productive to put your energy into.
At the end of the month the Uranus Pluto trine goes exact for the second time this year on 29th November. This transit is part of the mini triangle configuration with Neptune and it encourages you to break free of anything that’s holding you back. If it contacts your chart directly you may experience breakthroughs and awakenings that reveal surprising solutions and new paths towards greater authenticity and freedom.
