Feeding Your Demons Video: Lama Tsultrim Allione

Lama Tsultrim Allione gives us a bit of background on the practice of feeding your demons and how it works, a little on the founder, Machig Labdron, and how she made friends with the naga demons. But most useful of all, she then takes us through the five steps of the process of meeting and feeding a demon. Worth taking the time out to do this meditation. Enjoy!

  1. Chod practice is one of more demanding and potentially dangerous in terms of the psyche. Therefore it is important to stress that care needs to be taken and real chod practice taken when empowered by the lhama or teacher with whom one works. Inner guru is vital in all practices. One cannot overestimate this simple statement. Thank you for sharing.

      1. Well, yes. Chod is a dangerous thing. One is foolish if it just wants to abolish the ego. You see, demons can be likened to a dysharmonic karmic ego network that of course has its counterpart – the positive light side. A person trying to feed this apparatus or consciously engage with it can experience some heavy opposition when doing it. It is a well known thing in the occult circles.
